This is an Usercontrol to use in your project to take screenshots, it allows captureing of the Desktop or an Active window. you can also hide the main form to not include it and give the control the name of the file you want to save to. Currently only saves as bitmap maybe add other formats in future well hope you find the code usfull.

For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.
  3. Scan the source code with Minnow's Project Scanner

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net including:McAfee.com

Looks quite useful. I wonder if it could be altered to capture just a certain control, like some of the commercial screen cap programs. I was thinking of capturing a picture box or a frame. Thanks for the upload Ben.

Capture as JPG would be nice

Thanks Ben,
