(About the author)

This is a Login program that you can easily put into your program... It lets you make a new name/password or put in a previous name/password to login. After pressing the Login button you will get a message of "Login Successful!" if your name/password match, if they dont you will get "Login Unsuccessful". This uses a database and searches for the name and matches it with its password (if login is successful)... If this is useful to you please vote for it.

Nice, but anyone could get in really easily but just not putting anything in either of them...

This was just what I was looking for. It was easy to change the code to allow only certain Member ID numbers to be used. Good work.

I never like code that does not stick to naming conventions, hence not really explaining what you are doing. There are no comments, so if you are working on a development team, nobody would like to work with you. Try to comment your code, even the most simplest process as most people don't like to read thru code exhaustively. Try to stick to used and approved methods of databse access.

Gary Woodfine--- Exactly man, i hate that all the way too... people NEVER comment worth anything on here....

hatchet - if you want to program ligin times in/out, just set a timer with the date/time, add a label for date/time, when users click "OK" to log in, add to "Login Time" "lbltime.Caption = !logintime". and same for logout but set it for when users either "UNLOAD FORM" or on "Exit"... Email me if you want it step by step or i can send over a code..
