This is a class that when installed properly WITH MYSQL API can be used to encapsulate all of the MySQL 4.1 API! The code is well commented and easy to use, I hope that this will be a good example for any server side programmers. The example app is demonstrated in windows. To properly install and use this class you need to do the following... Linux Users: Make sure that you have the latest MySQL API files installed. You can download them along with installation instructions from the official MySQL website. www.MySQL.com You must link the precompiled MySQL modules to your code! For the GCC compiler you would add in the arguments "-lmysqlclient -lz". Windows Users: Like in linux you will need to download the latest MySQL API files directly from the official MySQL web site. At this site you can also find directions on how to install the API. www.MySQL.com You will also need to go into your compilers linking options and link "libmysql.lib". In Visual C++ you go to Projects, Settings and click the link tab then add the file into the list.

For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net including:McAfee.com
