Oops! I spoke too soon... It appears you can only add one event per day! To be practical, you need to be able to add more than one event for each day. What's needed is a simple admin mode to enable the events to be edited rather than displayed. Minus 2 globes...

Yes, I agree too. I cast my vote too hastily, without looking at the code in depth, and said so at the time. The competition judges should have taken account of that. In essence this code has very limited application in its current form.
