Many time I stuck up to found of how to change the behaviour of my existing SQL instance setting of case sensitive to InSensitive.
I selected Case Sensitive while I was installing the SQL server, which create lots of problem for application where I was not checking for upper or lower case.
I found that code, which I like to share with you guys.
The following query will make case sensitive:
Update Syscolumns Set collation = 'SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CS_AS' where name = '<column name>'
and id = object_id('<table name>')
The following query will make case Insensitive:
Update Syscolumns Set collation = 'SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS' where name = '<column name>'
and id = object_id('<table name>')

When I try using this, I get the following message. I did do a sp_configure 'allow updates',1 before the time:

Server: Msg 271, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Column 'collation' cannot be modified because it is a computed column
