Secure application from prying eyes. You can add the Lock to your project as an invisible control via the toolbox (once adding it to the toolbox). Any application containing the Lock, will not run without the Key also running in the system tray. It works so well that you MUST make sure Key.exe is running before debugging your application or it will close the application and Visual Basic. For extra security, you can keep Key.exe on a flash drive. Theoretically, you could have your application open Key.exe (if available) before opening the form containing Lock. For example, add the Process.Start("/*****/Key.exe") to a login form being set as the startup form of your application. KEY: This is an empty and invisible application containing a System Tray icon. If the system tray icon is double-clicked, Key.exe will close as well as any application containing Lock.

Afterdownloading it, you will need a program like Winzip to decompress it.Virus note:All files are scanned once-a-day by Planet Source Code for viruses, but new viruses come out every day, so no prevention program can catch 100% of them. For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net
