SpeakEasy comes in two parts - client and server. The server runs on the target machine, waiting for commands, as a tray icon. To close the server, the password is: daverocks (yeah, well, I was bored). Client: Anything you type into the "Speech" area will be spoken by the target machine. Also, the "Misc" area has a couple sections. You can open any web page you want on the target machine, or display any popup message on the target machine. Also, there's an area called "Mean Stuff" - remote shutdown, restart, or log off the machine. This was written for fun. It is not intended to be malicious. It's only for fun, and the processes are not hidden in any manner. You can use a .reg script if you want the server to run automatically.

Note: Due to the size or complexity of this submission, the author has submitted it as a .zip file to shorten your download time. Afterdownloading it, you will need a program like Winzip to decompress it.Virus note:All files are scanned once-a-day by Planet Source Code for viruses, but new viruses come out every day, so no prevention program can catch 100% of them. For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net including:McAfee.com
