Thanks a lot, this really helps, but I have just one question, why do you make them register, if you have the serial generator included??
(If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)

6/18/2000 11:34:54 PMPiK Soft Inc.

The reason a serial generator is included is to show you how the serials are generated to register it. I figured that was pretty self-explanitory.

If the code is worth a vote you shall receive it.
I removed all the registration stuff out of your code since it is not needed.
Not a bad set of tools to have. Works almost as well as Cyber Kit.

Pretty cool! But, why is it that when I do a tracert from a DOS prompt I the first hop shows up but NetTools shows the second hop as the first, the third as the second etc.? Why won't the first hop host respond?

Great collection of codes! I liked the registration feature!
Do you know how to connect to the Internet totally automatic and invisible, without any dialogs and windows and without the user having to enter anything each time. Even know how to get information from a stored DUN set?
If so, please let me know: joakim@spray.no

Thanks in advance!

In responce to Nova's question. On the HTML Grabber you would just set the data type to binary

Hmm... Not to bash your work or anything, but there are a lot of tell-tale signs that inform me that this is pieced together from other code... The Ping and Traceroute code is the exact same (down to the misspelled statements) of others I've seen. I agree, why recreate the wheel, but you should be giving recognition to those who supplied you with the code.

The coding looks very good and I want to test this application further but I keep getting a Winsock1 load error. Do you have any tips for working with OCX's that refuse to load correctly? I would appreciate it so that I can dig further into the functionality of this application.

Best Regards,

Tom

Have a look at the API I'm using - I've not included my HTML parser - but this API with my wrapper-function is easy to use and it's (so I'm told) the same API call that IE uses. MS might have changed that some time ago but the function still works.

http://www.futte.dk/vb/URLDownloaderModule.asp

I've placed the code for a normal-module on that page and if you scroll to the bottom of the page - you'll find a download link for a ZIP that has the module ready for use.

you could use the winsock API, which calls the winsock dll's and doesnt require any activex controls or you could use the winsock activex control
