Clear out unwanted shortcuts in your My Recent Documents folder. I use the Recent folder all the time, but it is quickly cluttered with every misc. little item accessed. Plus, it displays only a limited number of items, pushing the stuff I'm always accessing out of the way (unless you choose to do a Start / Run / Recent). This little utility allows me to clean the things I don't normally access all the time, such as image files, media files, VB misc. files, etc. Fully customizable to process just the files you want to clean out. Just put a link to it in your taskbar or desktop and it is then just a quick click away to clean the storeroom (the little shortcut files are deleted, NOT the actual files they link to). This program also demonstrates parsing the contents of a shortcut file (*.LNK), getting the path to special system folders, accessing network sharenames, getting the operating system type, connecting and disconnecting from network drives, and other little gems.
