Yes, this is a great idea! To Rob: you arent the only one doing VB6 - there are LOTS of us out there! Companies arent willing to go DotNet so quickly as the trade magazines would want us all to believe. :)

I did get this to work, but only after converting a lot of double quotes to single quotes and visa versa.

I'm not going to rate you for I did do this on SQL 2000, and not for sure, but I did think that SQL 7 was the same.

To improve the actual class, you could try ditching the recordset object and work with arrays. Check out this article I posted a few years ago. It is with ASP, but the same concepts apply with objects.
