Well, no, cause VC++'s conio.h lacks many functions found in Borland's conio.h. However, with VC++, you can use wincon.h instead.

First of all, what comiler are you using? My application was compiled with Borland C++ 5.0 which is free for download at www.borland.com. You can't compile this using Microsoft Visual C++ because the conio.h from VC++ doesn't have any console functions.

{
COORD crd = {x, y};
SetConsoleCursorPosition(GetStdHandle(STD_OUTPUT_HANDLE), crd);

Just mess around with console functions and you will get a good result. :) I have VC++ and I simply added the header I made and it worked. SetConsoleTextAttribute, WriteConsole, GetConsoleScreenBufferInfo, FillConsoleOutputCharacter, SetConsoleCursorInfo, SetConsoleCursorPosition, SetConsoleWindowInfo, GetConsoleMode, SetConsoleMode, there are many more, but start playing with these and you might get a good result...
