     After downloading a lot of "complete aplications" that made nothing, I decided to send one that is not so complete, but that you can learn how to REALLY use graphical filters. Blur, Blur More, Sharpen, Sharpen More, Emboss, Difuse, Difuse More... You name it! And you can make your own filters so easy! this little proggy only has 3 hours of programming and testing... Should i work more on this? Tell me what you need! ohh.. btw, save command has a bug :) don't use it!

Ok. To be honest with you, I don't have any word to describe this project. I only have one. And that is "OUTSTANDING" It amazed me when I try to diffuse my pic using your Algorithm. Because of that, I'm now getting abit interested in GAMMALING a pic.

And by the way, my brother used to think and say "Hmmm.. how can programmer do that?" eheheh. He don't know anything about programming. Maye this will prove/show him that it's possible with Math.

hm, quiet good, but you should use the SetPixelV Api instead of the VB own PixelSet functions. It is faster !!!

:)
and you made it twice!

I think this is the algorithm she meant... :-)

the save command doesn't worked because you called the savepicture thingy wrong.
Imagem = CommonDialog1.FileName
SavePicture Picture1.Image, Picture1

it should be
SavePicture Picture1.Image, Imagem
because the Imagem is the filepath. Also to do filters you can just separate it with ";", ie. *.*;*.bmp;*.jpg

I am not sure if this posting is still monitored or not but I thought I would offer some constructive criticism...try using DIB's and manipulating them rather than GetPixel, SetPixel, SetPixelV and so on. The result is much faster and I am sure you will be more impressed by the results.

Depends. Math really isn't needed for a lot of kinds of programming or basic math is all is needed although Graphics are a major requirment(MATH <-- I dread that the MOST).

Hi Samantha ... speed is too slow. But of course, I can not expect it to be a perfect one if it's prepared in 3 hours! Keep working on it and I'm waiting for your next version to come.

Also, for some serious Graphics and Filter works, you must see GraphicalDLL by Pieter Z. Voloshyn which is in VC++. I don't have a direct Download Link but I do have the DLL source code and compiled version. If interested then please let me know (mailme_friends@yahoo.com)

I just got the mail-returned from PSC Mail server ... guys, please make sure that your Email addresses on PSC account are working properly. If you don't want to receive emails from PSC code viewers (like me) then you can always disable it; but please consider one fact that PSC is our Planet Source Code and hence we need to help the PSC team to keep it clean. Regarding the few comments above then I do agree with Ste Dunn. Moderators, what you all are doing?!
