Someone please let me in on the Open Source meaning. I always thought that it meant Free but maybe I have been wrong. I was impressed with this software and was setting it up to test it on an intranet when I found you have to spend a $100 in order to test all the software functions. Does this mean I can start plugging custom database's on this site?

Intranet Open Source is 100% functional. Downloaders are required to spend no additional money to have a fully functional intranet. The admin paks available on the Digger Solutions site are simply GUI interfaces to ease administrative tasks.

I'll expand on Dan's comments. I downloaded and spent 2 days evaluating the free 'core engine' of the application. It IS a fully functional extranet application, but DiggerSolutions pricing model means that you simply purchase the add-in 'paks' that you really need. Otherwise you can hack the relevant data straigh into the database (but wher's the fun in that ?)
BTW I immediately recommended this intranet solution to the board of my company and have been met with nothing but praise for it's effectiveness. And 'No !' I'm not sleeping with Dan before anyone asks ?!!? LoL

Keep up the good work Dan.

Brilliant!
Now add support for IMAP webmail and it is perfect... allow the scripts to access any IMAP server on the Intranet or extranet.
What do you think?

Good work 5/5!

I found a bug. If a person clocks in and then clocks out exactly at 12:00 PM (Noon) and you try to edit the time it shows the clock-out time as 1:00 PM.

Just FYI...

a note on the database for those with problems... MAKE SURE that the database path and all its files (Usually a folder for just databases in it for security) have full control for everyone. You can do this by right clicking on the folder and/or files and going to the security tab under the properties. Add the user names "Everyone" and give them full control. This should fix any database errors.
