I've seen some code that shows data as a tree, but they are either - completely serverside, and the whole tree is expanded - with clientside code, and the whole tree is loaded before the page can be shown. This tree is completely serverside, database driven, has unlimited levels/nodes, and is expandable/collapsable. Therefore clients that do not accept clientside script can use it, and only the neccesary data is loaded. The disadvantage is, that the whole page is rebuilt when a branche is expanded/collapsed. Special thanks to Rogier Doekes who fixed the mark-up

For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net including:McAfee.com
