(About the author)

This is the Delphi Demo Coolstuf Revised, to show how to make the History.dat file work with the URLComboBox. Included is a HelpMe File for more information on how it all comes together, along with some extra goodies. (Plus information on how to make this work in Delphi 6 Personal addition, We advise that you do some research on the internet if the information for Delphi 6 Per. does not work, as I did this my memory, as I had to install it into a friends computer, that I am training.) If this helps you, I ask that you please "Vote" for me, as it takes allot of time to put one of these tutorial code examples together. So please vote if you would like us to keep on submitting tutorials and source code.

The WebBrowser (CoolStuf Revised) was compiled in Delphi 6.02 With TEmbeddedWB installed, So for those that do not have this component installed, you will receive an error.
[Fatal
Error] Main.pas(8): File not found:
'SHDocVw_TLB.dcu'

Please just Remove this from the
[Uses SHDocVw_TLB;] And then Recompile, If you receive another error, for
[ shdocvw ] Just remove it from the Uses list as well.
I would like to apologize for this not being in the Helpme file.
I would reload everything to here again, But I have to email it in, as the file size is larger than the upload capacity.

Take Care

I'm glad I downloaded this...
I liked the idea of making a customised browser so that I wouldn't have to muck about with IE, Mozilla etc. (Mozilla is great but it doesn't support everything IE does)
I thought making a browser in delphi 7 PE would be almost impossible without components such as Indy (I develop on my other PC which has no connection and Indy isn't small).
Using the download you provided has proved that those big component packs aren't always needed...
The problem with the uses clause is easy to fix as you just remove the uses items which are causing errors... (remember, you can't do any damage unless you save so experiment!)
I'm building my own browser now and I hope that we will see more people creating their own browsers and info on using this method of creating them.
I now have another tutorial to write for the site I help out at... (teencoderz.com)
