xmlParser is an javascript xml class that helps you request xml from a uri or parse xml from a string. more importantly, it gives you the ability to create a javascript array from the xml so that navigating the elements is much more easily done than by using the dom. there are also two php function immulations included: xmlParser.toString is the equivalent to php's print_r function (invaluable when trying to debug by output in javascript), and xmlParser.toStructure, which immulates php's xml_parse_into_struct. and if i could figure out how to do javascript variable assignments by reference (i.e. a = &b), then i could write the xmlParser.toArray function non-recursively and in just a few lines of code. hope you find this useful. please note that to see how this works, all you need to do is copy the code, save it as an html page and open it in your browser. enjoy.
