DotNetNuke: A Step by Step Installation
I'm just a new .NET Guy, and my Boss assigned me to study DotNetNuke for several projects inline.
In order to remember and not to forget any steps, I wrote this manual.
Honestly, I find it hard at the beginning, trial and error stage for this installation part.
But at the end, it works.
Let me give you a basic introduction on DotNetNuke.
DotNetNuke is an open-source Web Application Framework ideal for creating and deploying projects
such as commercial websites, corporate intranets and extranets, online publishing portals,
and custom vertical applications.
DotNetNuke is built on a Microsoft ASP.NET (VB.NET) platform, and is easily installed and hosted.
It was recently revised to take advantage of ASP.NET 2.0, which VWD is based on.
DNN is a framework that sits on top of .NET and allows you to rapidly develop professional-looking web sites.
Steps For Installation
1. YOu need to download the latest .zip file on http://www.dotnetnuke.com/.
