This simulates a tab control in pure DHTML, using cascading stylesheets and VBScript to do the job. Mind you the VBScript code can easily be changed to JavaScript. With this, you can develop your own web application without haveing to use an Active-X control.

This code is really cool I tried it and it works really well. Don't worry about the colors you can cchange everything by specifying your own colors in the stylesheet!

Everybody knows that Netscape stinks when it comes to cross browser compatability. Unfortunatley for those of us that do this for a living we must consider the "other" browser. Other than that awesome app man. Keep up the good work.

I have seen many tab-type pages that use images or OCXs. This is a great alternative with nice clean code. Great Work!

This looks to be an excellent tool! I can see from the other comments that it has worked successfully for other people. Unfortunately, when I try to view this after download, I get a VBScript runtime error "Object required: "Tab Buttons" was not handled. Does anyone know what I can do? The code doesn't seem to be the problem. :-)

Good work. However I can't seem to get it to work. I am a novice so please forgive my ignorance. I suspect that I have to include the _tab.htm files in the commented area within "
" tags of IPT_TAB_CTL.htm. Is this correct and How?

Chris,
Just look at the code and do the same thing. Copy the code behind the tab object and paste it in the event of your button.
