     The jcFrames control (NEW VERSION!!!!!!!) will enable you to have new designs on your vb projects. This control provides 5 styles (including Windows XP style) for your frames and different features (caption aligments, textcolor, fillcolor, iconsize, picture, etc.). Version 1.1 incorporates icon alignment and fixs errors of previous version. Thanks to Jim K for doing the initial idea of the usercontrol using my job posted to PSC. Thanks to ElectroZ for his frame style used here as TextBox style.

Well done, very pretty. One small suggestion - to adjust the caption so its a bit further along and not where the icon is when left justified.

Nicely done, 5 from me. Not quite a complete control, due to the need to add the 2 mods, but still very nice.

Well, What is there to say. I have no hat on. If i had, i would take it off and bow. This is even more than a frame. With small changes, it Could be used even to skin forms. Beatifull work. No less than 5 for such work and it's well earned.

Regards
Jim K

Very nice indeed. 5 from Texas although the demo did'nt work,the control and modules worked fine in another project.(Possibly the mods and control were in a different folder than the Demo form when you saved it)

looks and works great, do agree with jeremyxtz though, need to modify placement of left justified captions when an icon is displayed, but that is minor. Nice piece of work though.

Juan, looks and functions great (Icon placement aside). Congradualtions on a very fine peice of code! One suggestion, you might consider reducing the external dependancies by combining the API & TYpe declarations in the UserControl itself....Thanks again for sharing this! TerriTop

as reported by: Jeff Mayes, Kenneth Foster, Kumar V S, xChaoSx I DETECTED WRONG PATHS IN jcFrames.vbp ***The paths are wrong because are valid for the author's computer only***
TO CORRECT THEM YOU HAVE MANDATORY TO USE WORDPAD AND SAVE IN MS-DOS TEXT FORMAT***
(If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)

12/29/2005 1:35:41 PMpietro ing. cecchi

These were your original Paths (parallel to the application path: your paths go back 1 time and than 1 time above):
The paths are wrong because are valid only for your computer.

Module=ModDeclare; ..\JCFRAM~1\ModDeclare.bas
Module=ModGrad; ..\JCFRAM~1\ModGrad.bas
Path32="..\JCFRAM~1"
CompatibleEXE32="..\JCFRAM~1\jcFrames .ocx"

These
are the corrected ones:

Module=ModDeclare; ModDeclare.bas
Module=ModGrad; ModGrad.bas
Path32=""
CompatibleEXE32="jcFrames.ocx"

NOTICE that you have to use mandatory WordPad for the corrections, and save as MS-DOS text, otherwise VB doesn't load the jcFrames.vbp file.

Very nice. The module errors are annoying but not that difficult to reassociate again in the main project.

What a great frame control! But I think it´s still missing an Enabled property... it is sometimes useful on projects.. Anyway 5 stars!

Any ideas on detecting mouse movement over the frame? Standard jcFrame1_MouseMove doesn't seem to work.

Andre F. N. Dainese
There is an updated version of my jcFrames (2.0.1). you can see it at
http://www.planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?lngWId=1&txtCodeId=64261
This
version has enabled property included for usercontrol and for each control contained in it.

Chris You are right, for the moment mousemove porperty doesn't work any idea is wellcome.
