Out on the road and need to quickly "tweak" one of the pages on your web site? Find a typo while surfing your site and want to fix it while you still remember?

AnyPortal Site Manager is a web site support tool that lets you view the directory structure of your web site and then add, change or delete files using only your Internet browser. (AnyPortal Site Manager is exclusively for use on web sites based on Microsoft's Active Server Pages technology.)

You don't need a text editor or ftp client. You don't need FrontPage. You certainly don't need Visual InterDev. AnyPortal Site Manager is a single Active Server Pages document that you copy into the root folder of any ASP web site. (Just one page --- no graphics, no helper files, no configuration --- copy it and you're set to go!) Once loaded, you use AnyPortal Site Manager like you would any ASP page. Just type in the URL and start clicking!

Visit www.anyportal.com for the latest version.

This is amazing, very efficient code. Both the coding and the operation of the pages are a breeze.
I have been intending to do something like this, but I could not hope to match this.
Thanks very much.
The only thing that it needs is a login, because anyone who found the url could cause a disaster.

Just password protect the directory with the URL.

Wow! This solves a question I wasn't even smart enough to ask yet. It worked instantly out of the box on all of my shared server accounts. I live in the same city as he does, and the next time I need ASP help, I'll give him a call.

This code is excellent. I wanted to do something like this as I cannot FTP through the firewall here, but the efficiency of the code here is superb. I will use it over and over.

Very fine work! I can now use my ADSL line to update the site instead of the dialup access from my ISP! This will save hours of painfully slow modem uploads.

It keeps asking me for a password. What should i provide if i have no password on the system?

I haven't run this program as of yet but I would like to offer my 2 cents for those with problems on the login. The script out of the box is set so that the pasword is NULL which means it is your default windows login. If you are being prompted for a password then try your account login for that server. Call your ISP / Admin if you keep having problems with your password.

Very nice. I was looking for something much simpler (a directory browser), but I was happy to find this code.

Also, very nice the way symbol fonts were used instead of graphics.

One thing that worries me is that it seems that a programmer could program malicious coding into scripts of this nature. Wouldn't it be possible to steal passwords?

I trust Mr. Martin, but I'm not sure my systems admin would :)

Excellent script!

This is a great program, I got it installed and it looks great. The only thing is that I can't delete, edit or create folders or files. Could somebody help me with this? Thank you kindly.
