This is a really basic engine that allows anyone visiting your page to add a link!!. On the output screen it displays every link in a database, whilst the input screen ...well inputs it. This script is good for begginers and easy to develop for advanced users!

Absolutely fab fer a beginner like me.
I've added ' target=""_blank""' (which opens the link in a new browser window) to the line:
link = "" & link & ""
in the page "linkview.asp", simply cos i prefer (and i think most people do too) to have these kinds of links open in a new page.
Of course you can add as the default for all links, anywhere within the section of the html script.
Additionall options (if anyone is interested) are :
= opens in the same browser window (also used to open a page in the same of a )
= opens in the same browser window if frames are used)
= opens in parent frame of a

Hi - Listen I know this might sound sily to u but im new to asp. Ive tried to run the code to add a link but each time i do i get a msg asking me to download the asp link file, which i already have. then it comes up with the code under the heading of "Miscellaneos" in InterDev. i have dreamweaver but do i need to get another program to use asp.
Please help im lost!
