I created Mp3, ID3V1, ID3V2 classes for use into an Indexing services, you could easilly use them for any media player use. Since it was for an indexing service, no writing is supported. Complete support for URI, Images, Unicode, Complete Mp3 Header. Plus some interesting feature for endianess. Complete code runs using byte array, extremely fast. 3 Class provided (could all be used separately).

For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net including:McAfee.com

How about updating this after it's been fixed using Option Strict On?

There's a LOT of code that errors out when Option Strict is On.
