**Niro Professional Address Book** This is my second use of database. This is an address book with password protection, ect... I've worked hard so please vote! Watch up the screen shot!

Well it doesn't use any kind of connection as the DAO or ADO, It just connects directly with the database. (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)

I too had problems during "edit". I changed names to make a movie log so can't use the exact ones.
I added a field on the "EditThis" form called frmEditThisMovie.lblID.Caption.
When clicking on List1 on the "EditMy" form:
Add: frmEditThisMovie.lblID.Caption = rs("ID")
It copies "ID" (unique auto number) in the DB to the label:
Next on the "EditThis" form just before the "edit" statement insert:
Set rs = db.OpenRecordset("Select * from Addresses where ID = " & Trim(frmEditThisMovie.lblID.Caption) & "") Points to the right record for edit.
After the "Update" statement, I close the database before refilling the list1 box on the mainform so that all changes are reflected.
rs.Close
We need to reopen the database before updating the max counter and reloading list1.
When adding a record on the add "New" form, after the "Update" statement, I also close the database and then reopen it to refill the list1 as with the edit. (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)

hi Bhardwaj, You too (Indian) are asking password ? without reading the tag. If it it not available, you should check form load option which is using the password ( password is : swordfish ). So we Indian never ask such a question in future. Power Of Anubis ... your program is good... However If time permits, I will improve your code and will submit within few weeks.
