It'd be interesting if you could have animated walls or possibly have a whole map where the screensaver "walks" or "fly's" through.

Holy shiz, greatness. I need to learn more DirX and 3D stuff.
Is it possible to set it as a Screen Saver using the Desktop Display Properties Window?

compile it, change the extension to .scr, and then insert it in your default screen saver directory, drive:\windows i think

For those of you who want to know how a screensaver works, try experimenting with the "Command" command.(v_vU) I've noticed that it returns things like "/C" when configuring, and something else when windows runs it. As for the 3D, that's good. Try to use a text file for a map, to generate a 3D room from 0's and 1's(That's fun) and use the keyboards arrow keys to move the camera. Good luck, I like the idea. **** ^_^

Nothing in DirectX seems to work for me! except the one with the rmcontrol.ocx Direct3D doesn't work and I have a pentium III processor with a Gig of RAM and a supreme graphics card! I have yet to be able to rate any of these samples.

I have DirectX 8.1 installed. Sorry for the late feedback; Just got back from a war with spyware. Those guys picked the wrong hacker ta mess with though. Anywho, I can only get DiectX samples with basic 3D to work. It's as if I do not have a 3d-Graphics card r somethin. Maybe It's the aftermath of the war.
