Well I am back agian with a new update.
Some of you may remmber DM Bitmap Extractor well if you liked that you will also find this usfull. You can.
View and Extract AVI,REG Files, Bitmaps, Icons, Cursots, Menus, Dialogs,Text files, HTML,String Tables and more Hope you like this update.

A slight problem I think. Looking at some of the Dialogs in Shell32.dll brings up a window that I can't cancel.

Note with dialogs been shown do not click the stop button in VB click exit in the program or there be left sitting there. I should have put this in the description but forgot.

Is it possible to save strings to an resource in another executable ?

Hi Knoton,
You can save resources to other programs you need to use an API Call called BeginUpdateResource I think. I not looked I only remmber because I used them once to make an eBook with HTML

it's quite possiable that this has something to do with the Media Player control I am using to view the AVI files.
if you want you can just comment out all the code for the AVI file.
see tv1_NodeClick
#AVI comment it out it should be ok then or less you need to download your self Media Player.
