This amazing piece of code actually shows you the real password in those password boxes instead of the ***** you always see! This code uses the mouse as a "revealing glass"(Sorry, I couldn't find any icons of a magnifying glass to use for the cursor), so that when you move the mouse over a textbox, the password changes to REAL TEXT, and when you move it away, the password is shown as ***** again! This effect is easily edited out of the code, if desired. This program is not meant for stealing passwords, please do not use it for that purpose. I hold no responsibility for passwords stolen using this program. This program won't work with IE, but it will work with Netscape, because of the way it handles windows.

No, sorry... IE password boxes are not really password boxes. If you look at it with WindowPeek(Email me if you want it, it's my program) or a different spy program, you'll see that it's all part of the IE class ShellEmbed, no matter what part of the webpage you look at. Sorry, but IE is apparently more secure than windows.

I think it's the best password viewer I've seen on PSC yet. The mouseover feature is definately a great bonus.

I dunno how to work this thing, how to load it or anything
(If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)

To load, like any other zipped piece of code:

1. Download the Zip
2. Run an unzipping program
3. Unzip the file
4. Start VB(This code is VB5+)
5. Load the .vbp file
6. Press F6 to run

If you don't know how to do that, you might not want to look at advanced category code

Cant get it to work. Every time i put the mouse
over a box with *'s, it goes blank
I have Win2k, does that have anything to
do with it?

It does not work under windows 2000! Only for windows 9x

hmm... maybe it's because Win2k changes their API, maybe it's because it's in VB4. Anyway, if someone could tell me how Win2k API would work with this code(I now have a newer version of VB, maybe I can write Win2k project files in it now), then I would try to get a Win2000 version of this program going
