This is a DLL (type-library) written in VC++ to be used in Visual Basic. This dll makes unbelievable effects like: brightness (in a very fast way), contrast, hue/saturation, gamma, blur, smart blur, radial blur, zoom blur, twirl, swirl, ascii morph, gold effect, alpha blend, many blend modes, emboss/engrave, raindrops, waves, circular waves, sepia and many others.
You can use in VB with a module or a reference. Many of these effects you've never seen it before. I've worked hard to implement this dll, so, I will appreciate your vote, ok?

I really love this dll. It's great. But now I need to rotate and image and I can't seem to find this functionality in this dll. Am I missing it or is it really not there?
If not, would it be possible to add it? My C++ knowledge isn't that great ;-)
It seems to be that if it is possible to do all these great things to an image, it mustn't be to hard to add rotating functionality, am I right?

You're right, this GraphicalDLL's version doesn't have a function to rotate the image. This is not hard to implement.
Now, I'm implementing a new dll with much more functionalities, but I'm not having time to implement, so you need to wait a little, ok?
If you need this functionality now, I'll just suggest you to search in PSC, there are good examples in Visual Basic.

i get a diagonal line across the picture when using metallic, gold, or ice on a pic bigger than the one in the demo. Also, gold and ice come across the same as the metallic effect with this same pic. Otherwise, great! (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)

Your dll is indeed excellent and it takes a lot for me to be impressed. I'm a professional programmer and have written an application that captures in real time an electron beam image and profile it. I needed a way to control the contrast/brightness to reduce background clutter and have implemented your control. The only problem I have is that a diagonal line shows up on the picture box from top right to bottom left that appears to be xor of the image. I have not looked at your code so didn't know if you watermarked your dll.

It worked great the first day... Then It didn't work again...ever.Can someone tell me why-It say's it can't find "GraphicalDLL.dll" but i put it there myself for it to work the first time round. 5 globes for the 1 day though!!! (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)
This is a great piece of coding!!! Very clean and easy to implement. In testing it I had only occasional issues with the Metallic (metallic, gold, ice) and the ReduceTo8 effect. It doesn't happen all of the time but occasionally when I call these functions, it will cause VB to crash or if it's inside an executable, it will crash the app. I tried to clear the contents of the picture control with LoadPicture() before calling the function but that didn't seem to fix the occasional issue. Any other ideas on what may be causing the crashes? Did I mention before how incredible this code is??? Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!!!
