But i dont understand , when i need to open the database file in Payroll System,Library Management System ,it is not opened,Of Course, after tying the password u have provided to open the database aslo It Displays only u r picture. great work... but i cudnt run this project . coz i am getting the following error. Could not find type 'PayrollSystem.ctrlLineHorizontal'. Please make sure that the assembly that contains this type is referenced. Now, for the people having problem opening the MS Access Database file(PayrollSystem.mdb); the author of the programme has implimented a good security. But Not that secure for me. ;)
You can access the database by folowing these hints:
The database file's password is: junaldlagod
You should keep [SHIFT] pressed while opening the database so that the system protecting the file (splash screen) is bypassed.
Then you should got to Tools -> Startup and select (none) in the 'Display Form/Page' section.
Then Go to Tools -> Options and enable the 'Show Hidden Objects' and 'Show System Objects'.
That's it. You can now freely play with the database tables. :)

All your code I like so much but I never see your code in vb.net only C#. if you have free time i need you to make another project with vb.net(2003) and sql server(2000).

It's an interesting project you have here. But it is no good to be used as a payroll system. Where are you doing your tax and other government deduction calculations? What means do you have of updating these calculations when new legislations come out every year?

Always the same with people like this. They NEVER respond! Anyone having build errors....use Visual Studio 2005...the full version, 2008 Express doesn't work.
The ctrlLineHorizontal error comes up with me in the designer when trying to view the form, but the program debugs, builds, and runs just fine. I don't know what Junald (if that is his name) has used, he hasn't replied to my emails, and Google comes up with no results. His website doesn't exist, either.
A note to Junald, and many other foreign developers...support your users, or DON'T BOTHER POSTING CODE! These people are supposed to be "Advanced" coders! Sheesh! (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)
If your using a VS 2008 Express edition to open my program, i don't know if it will work properly but i tried to load it on VS 2008 developers edition it works great. Sorry for not replying in your emails, i am just busy at the office. One more thing if your a good programmer/developer DEBUGGING is a practice to solve problems. You can do that.
