PSC is not about the votes, it's about the codes.
But good code deserves a vote.

Looks like I'm a poet without even knowing it ;)

Merlin is the name and logic is my game...

You may as well use LaVolpe's button control. It's nearly the exact same!!

Hey Oliver, thanks for the vote, whilst I have used some of LaVolpe's code, the control was made before his image/caption routines were imported and/or modified to suit my control. And if you read the comments, I have given full credit where it is deserved!
P.S. Without Keith's help I might still be scratching my head.

Beautiful work. It's also one click event away from being a nice button control too!

Im suprised with eye-candy like this, you havent garnered more votes. Maybe if you added an MP3 player and an IM component...

Peter, glad to see you got it off the ground, again. And for those that may see parts of my previous stuff in this posting, he has my "permission" if that is applicable to an open source site. I'll take a look & return by end of week.

Good job, looks good and creds to LaVolpe for excellent work too. Keep up the good work. And for those who are quick to judge, not everyone comes to a wonderful site like this to abuse the open source and rip off someone's good work and call it their own. There is always honor among those who have it.

Thanks for this excellent code. What I'd find incredibly useful would be a version of this where I could adjust the angle - i.e. the control has an x1,y1 and an x2,y2 much like a Line.

Im using Winxp SP2 and VB 6.0. When i opened your sample, it only displayed the gradient bar. No captions, no images. When i changed the caption, the caption ON the control appeared but still no image. When i ran it, no captions or images appeared. Only the gradient background. What gives????? Any clue??

I just found your code on PSC. It is beautiful and puts you in the top category of VB6 coders like Osen Kusnadi and Paul Volpe. One thing, could you advise if it is possible to make the control expand if the user enlarges the parent form? This would make your form perfect in my opinion. Thank you for the freat code.
