Hi rde, cool thing! Whats the base technology for the 'Copy Data Structure'? Mutex? Anyway, this special part 'arrays of UDTs seems to me the most useful. Maybe you can add it ;) ?

Perhaps I should have called it the Copy Data Structure UDT, because that's all it is, a UDT:
Type COPYDATASTRUCT
dwData As Long
cbData As Long
lpData As Long
End Type
This UDT (structure) is part of the Interprocess Communications API:
The Microsoft® Win32® API provides mechanisms for facilitating communications and data sharing between applications. Collectively, the activities enabled by these mechanisms are called Interprocess Communications (IPC).
Used in combination with the WM_COPYDATA window message:
Const WM_COPYDATA = &H4A

believe it or not, adding the ability to handle arrays of udt's should not be too difficult, as they really are just another array of a fixed length data type. I'll see what I can do LiTe. Rd.

Have a look at CreateFileMapping, MapViewOfFile, OpenFileMapping API functions. It's called names shared memory. I give you 5 stars because you seem to like to do hard stuff like me. :)D
