     This is a simple example that shows you how to load a picture from a file and create the correct DC for it. From there we just bitblt to the screen.

i like the example you did , and well explain . i hope you make more of those because i want to learn shape the image into my programs and the image already has buttons design to it and you code your program to work with the buttons the came within the image . make come alive do you know how to do this ?

Found the answer myself. you got the bmHeight and bmWidth the wrong way round!
