Very good script,

if you change the loadXML function like this, you can use the script with Mozilla, Netscape, etc.

function loadXML(url, handler)
{
try
{
var xmldoc = document.implementation.createDocument("", "", null);
}
catch (e)
{
var xmldoc = new ActiveXObject("MSXML.DOMDocument");
}

xmldoc.async = false;
xmldoc.load(url);
handler(xmldoc);
}

nice scripting, but Xsl is much better suited to generate web content described in Xml (using JS for added interactivity)

Hi John, thanks. I completely agree with you. I initially did this as a test and i do want to take this further using xsl,php and js. another reason for using jscript also was to get this working on pocket ie.
Hopefully i can find the time to make this a complete form building environment.
