-- Assumes:Simplye put this will change the ownership of all tables in a database quickly and easily. One of the biggest problems I have had is taking over an existing database with owners other than dbo which I do not prefer as it causes issues sometimes having to remember the owenr value as there is no set owener. This simply allows me to go in and quickly change over to dbo on all tables. Occasionally I do end up cleaning up but mostly small views and procedres here and there. However once you have all you ownerships consistant it makes dealing with a database much easier than if not. Of course you may want to do this same sort of the with all the databases depending on what you are given and this can easily be change to do so.
--
-- Side Effects:If you have any views or stored procedures that reference these tables you will need to correct them to make sure the ownership chain is in working order.
