This is a XML news fetcher client written in Visual Basic.net. It was firstly published by me in with name "Harezmi". It was published under GPL licence. After some time i though that pscode.com ppl must get it to so i dedided to publish it here.
Big news portal sites, generally publish their news contents in XML format (RDF and RSS).
(For example freshmeat.net,slashdot.org,securityfocus and newsforge)
This program 'Harezmi' get this XML formatted data and parses and shows to user.
It has a nice gui - with a nice ticker.
It's a good example for programming VB.Net:
