This is an example to my way of creating a different kind of menu than the ordinary dropdown menus or java menus etc etc... though the concept propably needs lots of refining... and the graphics are not exactly top notch (sorry guys and girls it was done in the wee hours of the morning).
Please even if you dont like the concept or the script in my example... give me some feedback.

it's definitely interesting. a different way of showing your menu. remings me a bit like flash... (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)
The description of my suggestion might not be all that clear but you can basically play with lots of things... say you wanna have a search field with a button that you want to put in between... or any kind of flash toys... or play with mouseovers or even ASP or PHP... the applications of it is limited to only the webdesigner's imagination... give me some more time and I'll prepare more samples for you :) (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)
