i changed the ip in the client.java and to the ip of the pc, running the server.java, but the app doesn't work.
i'm not able to send/receive messages.
is they're a mistake in the code, or do i have to do something else?

Hi, Im a student from Taiwan, well , my teacher gave us a assignment, its about using java to write a chat room, but the problems now are , we don't know anything about java, so can i use the code you write gave our teacher as a assignment? And another problem is i dont know how to use this, my classmates said that i have to create a server, but how how how????

Hello ,I am using Java program as server and vb program as client. Connection is successful when i connect from vb client to java server but when i send data to java server, it dont receive any data . why it is so?
