[pre'] A VERY ACCURATE, FULLY SELF-CONTAINED MOON TOOL Author: Jay Tanner - 2019 This program computes a tabular DE405 lunar ephemeris for any given date in the 600-year range from 1600 to 2200. If you want to get the quick astronomical statistics for the moon at any given moment, this program may come in handy. Compare it with the actual moon and the event computations that NASA publishes on the Internet. The match is very good. The complete package contains the PHP program script, the DE405 data file and a set of lunar phase images at 1-degree intervals from 0 to 360 degrees. The geocentric phase images are displayed to within ±0.5 degree. It computes the geocentric and topocentric lunar coordinates, distance and phase angle for any given moment in the valid range. All computations are based on the NASA/JPL DE405 ephemeris model. The program began with PHP v5, with this version edit being in PHP v7. Currently (May 2019), a working copy can be found here: Language: PHP v7.1.8 License: This source code and any related graphics are released under the provisions of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International.
