I ran you select statement in query analyzer that gets the names of the databases. Some of my user databases don't show up because their SID is 0x01. Why is this? I would appreciate if someone could tell me because I can run a select statement where xtype = 'U' and status > 0 I think and that gets me all the user databases in SQL 2000. Just wondering, my email is mikew@norsoft.net.

Thanks,
Mike
