Nice project. Had some trouble with Global.asax, but got it working and it looks fine. What's the purpose of the dropdown on the display page?

Heey , Thanks for you comments. The purpose of the dropdown on the display page means you can select pictures in a category like landscape photo's or birds photo's. So you can see the photo's in the selected category. You can also make your own category.

Great code. I will adopt it to show spider images on the internet. I have a few problems though - how do I get to the log in page? I have set the default.aspx as the start page, but there is no link to the log in page. If I set the log in page as the startup page and enter the username and password from the access table nothing happens when I click the button. Why am I not directed to the upload pages?

The program is not complete. You must finish it self further. You can make a link on the default.aspx to the login page. And even in the upload page you can make a stream to really upload your pictures and also in he same time you can make thumbnails from your uploaded pictures. If you like, a can send you the code for the stream!!

Why the button doesn't work? I tested the program much (also on other pc's) and it worked all well, also the login button. Sometimes it can that the click event is not seen by the VB.NET in runtime.(It's, I think, a little bug in .NET). If this the case, then can you better place a new button on the login page and fill the new click event with the code from the old click event. Then it will work again.

If you want to test the program and set the upload page as start-up page than you can set the session variable in comments ! So you can start-up the upload page without login.

' If Session("SV_USER_ID") = Nothing Then
Response.Redirect("member.aspx")
' End If

I hope it will help you a little bit to start the program.
