This code/tutorial teaches traslating C++ code into vb.net. Highly sophisticated software's source codes are available in C++. Therefore to make the best use of them it is necessary that you have the ability to translate one language's code into another. Don't forget to give me vote.

Note: Due to the size or complexity of this submission, the author has submitted it as a .zip file to shorten your download time. Afterdownloading it, you will need a program like Winzip to decompress it.Virus note:All files are scanned once-a-day by Planet Source Code for viruses, but new viruses come out every day, so no prevention program can catch 100% of them. For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net including:McAfee.com

I just thought you might be interested in a bid request i found on "rent a coder". It seems right up your alley...

I don't know if I'm missing something, but this doesn't really help. Converting screen input and output from a console is not really C++ to VB.net. What would be more helpfull would be a translation of type declarations, event handling, object declaration and use, etc, etc.

I wanted to mention http://code2code.net, a web site which translates from C++ to VB.NET.
You can paste your C++ code into it and select C# or VB.NET as a target language.
Expect to do a lot of manual cleanup.
However, Ehsen's source code above uses
'#include ' which is not supported yet on code2code.
Good luck!
