Im relatively new to Delphi, and i'd like to see JEL in action, but it doesnt work...something to do with VarToStr.

I get the same error as Michael, do you need any extra Lib's for this to work? (i only have the standard Libs) Or maybe it doesn't work with Delphi 6? Is there a custom VarToSTr function or is it built in? Thanks. (The VB version Rocked, can't wait to try this!)

I opened this project i ran it and suddenly the VarToStr error, i checked the Uses in the JelEngine.pas, just what i thought, it was missing Variants under Uses.

It was
uses
Windows, SysUtils, Stuff, Unit3, UnitMain, classes, graphics, dialogs;

And it should be
uses
Windows, SysUtils, Stuff, Unit3, UnitMain, classes, graphics, dialogs, Variants;

That's for JelEngine Unit or JelEngine.pas

That should fix the error, yor you all

To fix the VarToStr problem, replace it with 'String'. It's because you're using Delphi 6 which only uses typenames as typecasts.

You Can fix the problem by adding Variants to Uses part of JelEngine.
Thank you in this days i work on some project like this and this can help me to write my project.
