I made this for a friend. It is like an html compiler, but it really makes a simple file. Then it loads the page, and on unloading it deletes the file. Enjoy this fun prank.

Yeah the moment you find an HTML -COMPILER- let me know, I'd love to see that...considering it's a script language and isn't compiled, it's interpreted. :P

actually html CAN be compiled to java, but that is about it, all it does it convert the html to hex and the java reassembles it

HTMl doesnt compile, so if your freind programs in HTML, then he should be smart enough not to use this program because he will know that HTML cant be compiled, right? I'ts OPEN SOURCE, that means that Micro-Soft didn't make it, lol

You are right, Html is not a compiled language but you are totally wrong if you think html is a script language. Html is not a form of programming but rather a formating language, in other words it only defines the way a web document looks. Before you write and make a criticism make sure you know what the hell you are talking about. This application may not have a use and it may not even be funny but at least the guy is doing something creative. For all of you that are putting his app down, I'd like to know where your posting is, what apps have you written lately, I can't imagine it would be something interesting.

OK, here's how I'm feeling. At first I thought this program was stuped. And then I thought everyone who posted was stuped. So stuped in fact, that the program soon became smart by comparison. So in conclusion, the guy before this post was right when he said, "This application may not have a use and it may not even be funny but at least the guy is doing something creative."

Here is my 2 cents. First, it is in the Jokes category, so everyone needs to lighten up a little. Last, let me be the last to say HTML does NOT compile. To Ivo Smits, when MS called it a Compiler, it is actually a misnomer, what it actually does is condenses it, it's still HTML, but you need another program to actually make anything of it. Without a web browser, (or in the case of .chm files, winhlp32.exe) HTML is nothing more than text. To say that it compiles is like saying that you could compile a .txt file.
