New in this demo: Active titlebar skin (all running applications) and a new version of my award winning Textanimation control. Extra in this version is: transparent background, Picture background, Transparent background of parent form!, a lot of gradient options, MousIn and Mouse out events, ..?

Also in this demo: system tray skin with tickertape, docked window with tickertape, text animation demo, transparent animation (including form), vertical titlebar, gradient form, button control with a lot of properties, Win2k form transparency, animating logo, ...?

This publication is using code of about a dozen developers, so thanks everyone.

I have some problems with picBuffer.FontName = m_messages(j).MessageFontName

Change the Text 'Brush Script MT' to a font that you have on your system. I think you have to do this in two places in the project.

Just uploaded a bugfix for the font problem. Also fixed the MouseOver bug. The transparent form animation is still unstable on some machines. I will work on that.

You've done a great job of combining and using code from all over. I only regret that I don't have the time to fully go through all the code and pick it apart. :) I did notice one small issue on the Text Animation control. If you set the ToolTipText in VB, the ToolTip doesn't work when the program is running. You may just want to grab the code out of my Gradient Button (I solved that problem once, why not re-use the solution). Other than that and some lack of documentation I'd say you did an excellent job. (I don't care what anyone says about the speed, you can't have great, dynamic, animated graphics all over unless you take a performance hit)

OOoooohh, I never saw this remark in my email inbox, instead saw another less dirogatory one. Well Mr Edwin Vermeer, you said yourself that your code was obtained from several sources on PSC, what you have done is great and wouldn't have been possible if not for PSC. I'm not saying that you wouldn't have been able to code it in due course, but please dont knock my skills, I haven't even released anything to PSC that I would class as worthy of all my skill, I'm 19, been employed as a programmer since 16 and still growing, it's what I do best, It's my skill. And if you think that anyone elses skills are less than your own then you are not worthy to win code of the month, sorry. And again, don't think this is that amazing, its scrolly text, scrolly text was one of the first things to be programmed by junior coders in the days of yonder, fiddling around with assembly. Ill leave it there
