This code is good enough and validate
many fields but I found validation for
floating (like numeric) number is missing. If possible include it in code.

Thanx for this code, this is a good platform to start from. I added a few functionalities, such as the ability to raise an alert based on another name than the actual field name, because it often lacks of readability. I did that: strError = objValue.id +": Please Select one option "; instead of: strError = objValue.name +": Please Select one option "; and then put the attrib id="Type of Job" in the object instead of having name="cboJobType" in the alert text... Very neat and a professionally coded version and the ultimate one for it validates the input but I have a query out here if you just send in the Phone number either less than or greater than the specified ones the error message is the value of the Variable phone_error solution is to eliminate that variable then everything works fine.
