This will display not only all the info you would ever need about the server, but also how the php is configured on it, how the mysql is configured, and displays all the environment variables that you can use. This is 1 line of code! It is a built-in PHP Gem.

Actually, I just installed PHP and using just the following works fine, no echo needed:
phpinfo();

probably using php locally, doesn't always work on remote hosts.. thus the universal onliner;
