Great project.. Lots of Fun. How did you create the BMP files? What program did you use. Photoshop is a complete pain when it comes to palettes.

Thanks for sharing.

I used Paint Shop Pro 7 for the palettes, Its quite easy: Make a picture in 24 bit color 200 pixels by 200 pixels then paint a gradient over the image and then convert it to an 8 bit image. Paint shop pro should handle the conversion nicely and give you a palette. Save the bitmap in the firestorm palettes directory and you're done.

As for the screensaver, Well your going to have to change the size of the image to 320 by 200, This involves lots of For Next loop changing and resizing of the B() array. Then you could fit the 320x200 firestorm window in the top left hand corner of the screen and change the screen resolution to 320x200. I havn't tried this but I think it might be possible...

I have a little idea that may be very cool but will involve lots of work i guess. How about making a OCX control that you just place on a form, add an image and then use it....?

I strongly suggest you should update just the file here instead of creating new postings again and again...

1) It cost space on PCS and is not very user-friendly

2) You "lost" 4 Votings. 7 for Version 1.1. you got...and 4 for Version 1.4.
Don't know whether votes from same people, but with 11 you would be on Place 5 on the Toplist... :-)

So just update here and maybe post a new entry that new verision is out there.

Good job anyway.

Excellent program, pity about the variable naming - makes things a little more difficult to understand.
