     How can I comment out a large block of perl code? Use embedded POD to discard it:

=for nobody
This paragraph is commented out

all of this stuff

I couldn't get the =begin and =end to work. The =for and =cut around the intended text did exclude it and allow my code to work.
Overall I thought the example was a little weak and not fully functional.
