This code authenticate users in SQUID when they try connect to the internet . This users are going to be prompted about ID and password contained on a plain ASCII text file editable by root.

= Inputs:Running SQUID with acl poperly selected and the authenticate program uncommented.

= Returns:If user exists and password matches , return OK
else ERR

= Assumes:Read all information about authentication contained in the squid.conf file , edit your password file with properly permissions and have fun !

= Side Effects:You sholdn't leave the username password file with an empty line because its will autenticate any user trying to logon without username/password.
