That is my first C#.NET Project but it is a full 2 - players chess game. If your king is checked program understands, if mated and there is no move to defend king program detects mate. And necessary messages show. As you will see it is a full 2 - player chess.

Good fun! now the tricky bit is to get it working on a remoting server so you can play against your mates over the internet. (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)
i have written programs in vb6 but i do not try to use vb.net. If i use it i will translate it. But i hated vb6 so i do not think to use vb.net :) But to program it to play over internet or a network may be a good idea. i can try it. (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)
I have detected a bug... I moved my king to get out of check and when went back to that square after the piece that was checking me was gone... Then I castled queenside, this is not allowed in chess, once king has moved once he may never castle!

...anougher bug, can't pawn ampasant.. (eg. white pawn on a2 and black pawn on b4, if it's whites move and white moves to a4 then black can take towards square a3.) (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)

Hey, ive also found another bug but imnot sure if it is suppose to be like that or not. When u get ur pawn to the other side of the board you cant get like a queen or a castle etc is that suppose to be? (If this comment was disrespectful, please report it.)
