The TBTFileFinder class is a direct TObject descendant and it is a file finder. Using this class its easy to build a dialog like the Windows FindFiles dialog but its actual virtue is that it returns the searching results as a string list. Demo included for D3 and D4. By Theodoros Bebekis.

Ah, yes this seems like it will be really useful.
I am getting some access violation errors testing the demo but hopefully I can debug that, maybe it is some error it my running of it.

I can already think of some cool applications/additions:

1. run through my hard drive and drop a text filelist in each folder
2. run through drive and make a database of all picture files
3. copy all pictures on drive to a backup location
4. find all mp3 files and make a playlist for editing
5. find all duplicate file names and sort by date (which is newest?)
6. combine with text search component to find phrases in all .txt files.. etc.

and so on. Lots of possibilities to explore. Thanks for the code..

Anybody else get errors from demo? I need to find why those are occurring.
